Samuel started his training with PKF in Mauritius before completing his studies in London. He qualified in 1996 and joined Berley in 1997.

During his time at Berley, Samuel has developed good relationships with clients and provides them with commercial and technical advice, covering audit, accounting and corporate taxation. Samuel manages the audits and supervises a portfolio of mainly SME clients across a broad range of sectors including Media, Property, Art Galleries and Professional Services. He deals with group companies as well as businesses in the regulated sectors including Solicitors, Charities, Pension Schemes and travel companies.

Samuel is a fluent French speaker and has worked with overseas companies who set up or acquire UK businesses, together with undertaking due diligence exercises.

He specialises in audit with a particular emphasis on compliance matters and their regulatory implications. As well as dealing with all technical matters, Samuel is involved with the firm’s recruitment and development of staff. Key elements of his role include staff management and billing.

Fun Side:

Samuel is married to Joann (a qualified accountant) and has two young boys, Yohan and Kenjy. During his spare time, Samuel enjoys off-road cycling, watching football and spending time with his young family.
