Mark started in the profession in early 1983 working for a small boutique insolvency firm. Over the coming years, he moved to larger firms. This culminating in a secondment to Melbourne for 15 months during late 1991 to assist with a full-scale collapse of three medium-sized building societies.
He returned to the UK in mid-1993 and continued to concentrate on corporate restructuring; principally through the administration process. In recent years, he has focused more on the forensic and expert witness work relating to corporate fraud but applies his experiences to the full ambit of insolvency proceedings.

Style:
“It’s not over, ’til it’s over.” Mark is an optimist and tries to help clients and creditors see past the obvious. There’s no ‘inevitability’ about insolvency until the parties involve close all the doors and until then, Mark’s approach is to ensure all involved have worked through the options open to them.

Mark has been in the insolvency business since the early eighties working for different sized practices and in different forms of insolvency.

Outside of work, he enjoys a variety of sports. He’s also a regular in the local gym.
He has 2 teenage children who occupy most of his weekends and like him, seem to have acquired the bug to travel.
